Robert holds a bachelor’s degree in physics and a Ph.D. in optics. After more than two decades of developing the fiber optics test and measurement industry with multiple functions, including optical design and metrology, Robert joined LeddarTech in 2018, first as principal architect. He is now product manager for the LeddarSteer™ in the AD and ADAS Sensor Components business unit. LeddarSteer is a solid-state beam steering technology that is purely electro-optical in nature. It is compatible with multiple LiDAR architectures and can be used to expand the field of view and simplify key components to enhance LiDAR performance.
