Long wavelength VCSELs and VCSEL arrays from 1.3 µm to 2 µm for 3D sensing, communications and spectroscopy
Vertilas GmbH provides lasers for green photonics, such as NIR sensing and communications applications. These long wavelength VCSELs are available from 1.3 µm to 2.3 µm, with a wide range of packaging options. Vertilas lasers are wide tuneable and well suited for TDLS open path and point sensor applications. For communications markets, these single mode lasers provide 10.3 Gbps and up to 40 Gbps performance. For LiDAR and ToF applications Vertilas can provide 2D arrays up to 1000 emitters and more. Vertilas lasers enable customers to reduce power consumption by up to 50 % compared with conventional laser technologies.

Christian Neumeyr has over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor and optoelectronics industry. He has held executive positions at a number of leading technology companies, incl. Marketing Director at Infineon, Vice President at Multilink Technology and Director Business Line at Broadcom. Since 2006, Christian is CEO at VERTILAS GmbH. He holds a university degree in electrical engineering and an MBA and worked for several years in Japan, UK and the US. His professional accomplishments include managing complex R&D projects, defining new products for communications and industrial applications, establishing and managing fast‐growing and profitable business lines.
